Kate’s aim is to guide you from surviving to flourishing.
With a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Northern Guild, Newcastle Upon Tyne) and through voluntary work with the NHS and non-profit organisations, Kate has extensive experience working with adult clients of all backgrounds.
Counselling for Adults
Kate’s journey into counselling stemmed from a career in ethnography, when she lived in countries as diverse as Yemen and Tanzania. She has developed a deep understanding of different worldviews and cultures, which has informed her understanding of human behaviour and how people think.
Her interest in philosophy, meditation, and Eastern contemplative traditions – coupled with her own personal experiences of loss, life changes, and transformations – led her to train in counselling and therapy.
Kate’s blend of counselling skills and life experiences enable her to connect with clients on a deep and meaningful level, helping them work through difficult situations so they can live their lives to the fullest.
