About Peter Robinson-Vernon (LGBTQ+ Informed Counsellor)
Peter Robinson-Vernon provides one-to-one face to face and online counselling for adults and children. He specialises in working with LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, anger management, relationship counselling, and problems specific to children that might benefit from child counselling (such as bullying, school refusal, bereavement, and others).
Experienced Counsellor
After completing a BA in Counselling from Sunderland University in 2015, Peter went on to become a certified online therapist and has continued to develop his therapeutic skills since.
Through online academies, he has earned diplomas in helping with difficult child behaviour, depression, management, life skills coaching and more.
Peter has a wide range of experience in clinical issues and a deep understanding of the effects of LGBTQ+ issues, as well as having experience and skills in working with children.
Other Experience
A specialist in anger management, Peter is a trained anger management counsellor, having qualified as an Anger and Aggression Therapist in 2016.
As an MBACP member working towards accreditation, Peter also is also qualified to offer counselling supervision for other counsellors working with clients in 2019.
As an experienced counsellor, Peter can lend his expertise to a range of issues, including those specifically affecting the LGBTQ+ community (including identity and sexuality issues, depression, anxiety, and relationship problems).
He is also experienced in dealing with mental health issues such as loss and bereavement counselling, stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems in adults, teenagers and children.
