About Rosie McConville (Adult Counsellor)

Rosie McConville is one of our dedicated counsellors at Newcastle Psychologist & Counselling, blending a range of psychotherapeutic approaches to help adults to overcome a wide range of difficulties.

Practicing from a humanistic orientation, Rosie blends therapeutic techniques from a range of approaches (including psychodynamic, person-centred and existential approaches) into her counselling sessions to offer a range of ways of working with the problem.

She has a special interest in working with individuals facing issues related to Grief and Loss, Relationship Difficulties, Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity (GSRD), LGBTQ+ issues, and Addictions.

Humanistic & Integrative Counselling

As a humanistic and integrative counsellor, the core focus of Rosie’s work centres on the formation of a safe, deeply trusting relationship, which welcomes all parts of a person.

She uses a range of therapeutic techniques derived from different counselling and therapy approaches, tailored to individual needs so that she can best serve clients in overcoming their difficulties whether related to grief and loss, gender, sexual and relationship diversity issues, or addiction.

Rosie qualified in 2023 with a Diploma Level 6 in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, from the Northern Guild based in Jesmond.

She is trained to work with diverse client experience, including anxiety and depression, offering both short-term and long-term therapy for adults.

Accredited & Compassionate Adult Counsellor

Whilst going through her own healing journey, Rosie developed a passion towards helping others create lives rich in meaning, purpose and satisfaction.

She offers a genuinely caring, compassionate approach and strive to create a nurturing atmosphere for clients where they’re supported to feel heard, valued and understood.

Rosie is able to work with a range of clients and adapt to their needs to help understand and overcome their difficulties while maintaing a calm therapeutic non-judgmental approach.

Rosie McConville (Adult Counsellor) is registered with the British Association for Counselling Psychotherapy (BACP).

Rosie offers face-to-face appointments at the main clinic in Gosforth (Newcastle Psychologist & Counselling at the Regent Centre).

Online therapy using Skype, Facetime, Zoom & WhatsApp Video is also available.
